The Bethel SeriesThe Bethel Series, written and launched in 1961, was designed to help solve the problem of Bible illiteracy (nationally, average adult church members have a 6th-grade understanding of Scripture.) Today used worldwide, this remarkable study
enables its participants’ reading of Scripture to engage the Holy Spirit within them in eye-opening and discerning ways. Students view and study scriptures within their context and as a result, worship, sermons, and sacraments possess greater meaning and insight for each Bethel student.

The Bethel Series brilliantly proves that the New Testament can only achieve proper meaning and perspective with a clear, working knowledge of the events in the Old Testament. Altogether, these events fold into one great story for all mankind – God’s journey with His chosen ones throughout the ages. It is God’s story. Our story. Your story.
